The Riyadh season is a macro event held each year since 2019 in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, called “Riyadh”, in which it always takes place in autumn due to the extreme heat that the geographical area of Saudi Arabia presents to us.

Brief History The event always brings different shows, but its first show was held in 2019, with the intention of attracting tourists from all over the world and opening the doors from the Middle East to our Western world. In 2022, they obtained the Guinness World Record for the most remote-operated drones launching fireworks simultaneously as Imagine Dragons, Annie and Black Pink were presented last year, making for an incredible immersive experience.





Its inauguration will be on October 28, 2023. We have the participation of 2 CBM fighters, opening the event with the fight of Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou, undefeated heavyweight fighters, which we will also be watching on television in Mexico. On the other hand, we have the presence of WWE and its 16 world champions, including John Cena, the latter visiting the country for the second time since 2018.





The place will be divided into 11 spaces which are called “zones”. These will be quite large, since we are talking about millions of square meters, 3 zones more than the last edition.





Where one of the areas takes you back to shopping like an old market “Souq AlAwaleen” as many of the attendees comment “is a remarkable experience that promises to immerse you in the charm of an old Najdi market. The souq is not just a place to shop; it’s a living testament to the region’s rich past.”





Another area of this event is called Boulevard city and will present more than 6 comedy shows and plays, including "Zainab’s Fingers”, which represents the fear of marrying her daughters and securing their lives despite their difficult personalities.





On the other hand, Boulevard World brings a large amusement park. We are talking about almost one million square meters, something very similar to Six Flags in Mexico City but completely three times larger in terms of size. Also in this same area there will be more than 1,180 stores as well as more than 120 restaurants.





We will also have the immersive experience to see a Garden projected on a macro scale in Wonder garden, presenting virtual gardens just like Tokyo Museum.





Also there will be an area called Food Truck and they will bring more than 100 carts from New York, London, and Tokyo. “Riyadh Zoo” the zoo that will host a tour of the entire African forest and the presence for the first time of the red panda will not be missing in this edition.





Beyond seeing the differences in our cultures, Riyadh Season will open the doors to all tourists from all countries in the world to enjoy this great experience.
